There's a particular feeling when you pick up something made well. You notice the weight first. Then the surface — cool, specific, unlike anything manufactured. You know immediately that it will outlast most things you own.

Most objects today are designed to be replaced. Finished quickly because nobody assumed you'd keep them.

We kept looking for objects made from extraordinary stone — cut well, finished properly, worth keeping. They didn't exist. So we made them.

Some people walk past. Some people stop.
